On December 3rd 2020, the team at ThermoWise moved into the new premises located at Corner of Umkhoba & Umzithi Road in Shakaskraal, KwaZulu-Natal. This was a strategic relocation from the previous offices in Ballito.
The move is to cater for the upcoming growth period over the next 24 months, especially when providing for the new market that has opened up due to the recent investment from Viessmann.
The new premises will expand the production of ThermoWise Viessmann products, including
domestic and
commercial heat pumps,
high and
constant temperature heat pumps and
storage vessels. More recent products have also been added to the production line such as the
Accumulator,
wall hanging boilers,
oil and gas boilers,
flat plate and
vacuum tube solar thermal collectors,
instantaneous and
storage electric water heaters.
In addition to production, the new facility in Shakaskraal will also serve as a showcase of products to engineers from South Africa and abroad. A training facility for engineering professionals is also planned for development.
